BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Senior catcher Victoria Zamora added another postseason award to her growing list Thursday afternoon. The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced its 2018 Division I Softball Awards and All-ECAC selections, and Zamora was voted All-ECAC Second Team.
Zamora, who also earned second team All-Northeast Region honors, first team All-ECAC honors and the NEC's Golden Glove Award, earned the first All-ECAC honors of her career.
Zamora finished the regular season with a .977 fielding percentage, recording 222 putouts and 32 assists in 260 chances. She also finished third in the NEC in overall batting average (.359) and second in on base percentage (.466). This year, she led the team with 36 runs scored and 10 doubles, while finishing the regular season ranked second on the team in both hits (52) and RBI (30).
