BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- The LIU Brooklyn women's soccer team will be looking to rebound from a tough road trip to Tennessee last weekend with a pair of non-conference games at Hartford on Thursday, Sept. 6 at 5 p.m. and then at home on Sunday, Sept. 9 against Iona at 1 p.m.
LIU LOSES ON LATE GOAL IN DOUBLE OT

Freshman Meredith Hill had the only tally for LIU in the two games, her second of the season. Hill's goal was a free kick from 40 yards out with only 12 minutes remaining in the game, giving the Blackbirds a short-lived 1-0 lead was one for the highlight reel. Senior Marian Awad leads the team with six points (three goals).
HARTFORD OUTLOOK

LIU is 2-1 all-time against Hartford, following a thrilling 3-2 win last season in Brooklyn.
IONA OUTLOOK
