RESULTS

GREENWOOD, S.C.-- The LIU Brooklyn women's golf team finished the first day of the Lady Bearcat Invitational Monday afternoon, hosted by Lander University. The Blackbirds sit in ninth place, tying their overall first round score from a week ago at the  Hofstra Quad at 45-over 333.

Seniors Sara Ciliberto and Junior Aida Gonzalez continued to lead the Blackbirds scoring group in an eight-way tie for 29th place. Ciliberto and Gonzalez both carded 10-over 82 after the first round of play. Freshman Ashlee Garrett remained in the top-50, one stroke at 11-over 83 to finish in 37th. Senior Emma Paschal and junior Rebeca Pardos rounded out the Blackbird scoring group, carding 14-over 86 and 15-over 87 respectively.

Freshman Lexi Delorimiere competed individually for LIU Brooklyn, finishing 21-over 93.

Final round action is scheduled to begin tomorrow at 8 am.
