2015: Named to NEC Academic Honor Roll… Pitched in 15 games for LIU, including four starts… Finished the season with 23.0 innings and nine strikeouts… Threw 1.1 scoreless innings of relief against Iona… Did not allow a hit in two consecutive relief appearances at UMass Lowell.

2014: Had 10 starts on the mound for LIU last season, including two complete games… Finished the season with two wins and 19 strikeouts… Had five strikeouts against Bucknell in 5.0 innings, holding the Bison scoreless… Pitched 7.0 innings at CCSU, striking out three, and giving up just one run on four hits to earn the win… Also had three strikeouts against Wagner, Mount St. Mary’s and Bryant.

Background: Earned four varisty letters at Delsea Regional High School in baseball (3) and basketball (1)… Two-time first-team All-Daily Journal honoree… two-time first-team All-South Jersey Times honoree… Named first-team All-Tri-County at pitcher his senior year… also a two-time John Rose Tournament MVP… Went 6-1 on the mound his senior year, with one save… Compiled a 1.69 ERA, with 69 strikeouts in 52.1 innings, walking only 19… Also hit .366 with 17 RBI and 20 runs scored.
 
Personal: Son of Barbara and Frank Freijomil… Plans to major in health science... two-time National Honor Society member.
