2015: Named to NEC Academic Honor Roll…. Appeared in 15 games for LIU, starting seven… Had five hits in 24 at-bats… Went 1-for-3 with a double at Stony Brook… Was 1-for-1 with a pinch-hit single against Butler.

Background: Transferred to LIU from Niagara County C.C., where he was named team captain his sophomore season… Earned second team All-Region honors in 2013… Named baseball team captain his senior year at Orchard Park High School… Was named first team All-ECIC his junior and senior seasons… Also named All-Western New York first team, and All-New York State second team.

Personal: Son of Kathleen and Brian Knauth… Has two siblings: Brianna and Pat… Is the third member of his family to play outfield for a Division I baseball team: brother, Pat, was an outfielder at the University of Hartford, and father, Brian, was an outfielder at Wake Forest… Plans to major in business finance.
