Orlando, Fla. - The Long Island University women's tennis team kicked off a four-match spring break visit to Orlando with a 5-2 loss to Navy. Sophomore
Aleksandra Pavlovic was the lone Blackbird to win a singles match, dowing Amanda Griffin, 6-4; 6-4, at the No. 1 position.

Linn Sjogren was victorious over Brittney Boucher and Darien Sears, 8-5.
Navy took singles matches at the second, third, fourth and fifth spots. The shorthanded Blackbirds defaulted at both the No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles spots.
Long Island (1-3) will take on Northeast Conference rival Quinnipiac on Tuesday, March 15 at 10:30 a.m.
