BROOKLYN, N.Y. - LIU Brooklyn men's soccer player Kevin Lockhart was named the Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week, it was announced by the conference office Monday. This is Lockhart's first honor of his career.

Lockhart scored his first goal of the season and the game-winner on Saturday night against MAAC opponent Fairfield. His goal broke a 1-1 tie in the 89th minute. The freshman led the Blackbirds to their second win of the season and its second road victory. He also helped snap the Stags three-game winning streak.
