NEW YORK, N.Y. - The women's track and field team finished competition at the first meet of the weekend, the Great Dane Classic hosted by the University at Albany at the Armory.

Katrina Anderson continued her success in the 800-meter run this season, placing fourth overall with a time of 2:11.85, a new personal best. 

In the 60-meter hurdles, also posted a top-10 finish, taking sixth place with her time of 8.85.  She also finished 14th with a time of 25.21 in the 200-meter dash.

Camille Thomas was 10th in preliminaries in the 60-meter hurdles, running to a mark of 9.07.

The Blackbirds also placed ninth in the 4x400 relay, as the team of Anderson, Anise Cuffee, Maria Luzon and Josephine Watson ran to a time of 3:55.59.

The Blackbirds are back in action tomorrow when they compete at the NYU Saturday Night Shootout.
