BROOKLYN, N.Y. - LIU Brooklyn men's soccer head coach TJ Kostecky conducted an international coaching seminar and training sessions in Turks and Caicos from Jan. 10-13.
At the invitation of the Turks and Caicos Football Association, Coach Kostecky conducted a series of Vision Training soccer sessions with the full men's and women's national teams. Vision Training is a system established by Kostecky in 1981.
Additionally, he also held training sessions for the national coaching staff.
The sessions were extremely well received, and the concepts were applied quickly, and Coach Kostecky said was very impressed with the willingness of the players and coaches to embrace the training curriculum.
Oliver Smith, vice president of the Turks and Caicos Football Association, was impressed with the results.
"TJ has left us with new ideas and novel ways of approaching the way we coach our players," Smith said. " The feedback from the coaches and players has been wonderful and enthusiastic, and we hope we will be able to do this again."
