BOSTON, Mass. - LIU Brooklyn's Esther Jean-Louis represented the women's cross country team at the NCAA Northeast Regionals this Friday in Boston, Mass. The sophomore compeleted the 6K to cap off a successful sophomore year campaign.
Jean-Louis finished in 212th place out of 256 runners. The Elizabeth, N.J. native crossed the 6K finish line at 24:17.6 and averaged a mile time of 6:31. Halfway through the race, Jean-Louis was clocked at the 3K mark at 11:51.
The field consisted of the top collegiate competitors in the northeast. Dana Giordano from Dartmouth was the top finisher, who finished the 6K first with a time of 20:25.27.
