BROOKLYN, N.Y. – This Sunday, Nov. 8, the LIU Brooklyn men's soccer team is set to host the "Battle of Brooklyn." The Blackbirds face off against the Terriers of St. Francis Brooklyn at 1:00 p.m. for their final regular season Northeast Conference game.
LAST TIME OUT
LIU celebrated its seniors and won its eighth consecutive match with a shutout victory over Georgia Southern, 3-0, at LIU Field on Sunday. NEC Co-Player and Rookie of the Week Romario Guscott, along with seniors Nahuel Medina and Tyler Draovitch both scored goals in Sunday's game. Medina flicked it past the keeper in the 28th minute from 8 yards for his fourth goal of the season. Guscott received a pass inside the box for a header goal that landed just inside the left post. Draovitch was able to redirect a pass from sophomore Naeem Charles into the back of the net for his first goal of the season, giving the Blackbirds a 3-0 victory over the Eagles.
