Final Results
EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Junior Marisol Doglioli tied for ninth as the LIU Brooklyn women's golf team placed sixth at the Brown Bear Invitational in the final tournament of the regular season.
The Blackbirds carded a 312, the same as the first round, to finish with 624. Yale earned the team title, followed by Princeton, Boston University, Penn and Fairleigh Dickinson.
Doglioli improved four strokes in the second round, carding a one-over 73 to total 150. Senior Cristina Felip finished with a two-round score of 155, shooting a 78 on day two. She tied for 27th.
Senior Alice Boothroyd totaled 159 and tied for 37th, while senior Brianna Maynard was two strokes behind with 161 in a tie for 48th. Junior Victoria Fagan improved two strokes in the second round and finished with 164.
Boston University's Adela Cejnarova earned medalist honors with a score of 144.
The LIU Brooklyn women's golf team returns to the course on April 24 for the Northeast Conference Tournament in Daytona Beach, Fla.
