BROOKLYN, N.Y. - LIU Brooklyn's Natasha Bidwell earned Northeast Conference Co-Bowler of the Week. It was announced by the league on Wednesday, after Bidwell helped the Blackbirds to a successful 8-7 weekend at the SFA Stormin' Ladyjack Classic.
Bidwell shares the honor with Karsyn Lukosius of Fairleigh Dickinson.
The sole senior on the roster finished 17th out of 109 in individual standings in Houston, Texas, with a 202.17 over six traditional games. Bidwell knocked over a total of 1,213 pins over the six matches on Saturday, and helped the Blackbirds to wins over No. 1 Arkansas State and No. 3 Vanderbilt.
The Rotterdam, N.Y. native rolled a strike 57-percent of the time, and filled 87-percent of her frames in baker competition.
The No. 14 Blackbirds will return to the lanes on Friday, Feb. 29 when they head to North Brunswick, N.J. to face-off in the Monmouth Hawk Classic.
