SOMERSET, N.J. – Senior women's track and field standout Kyaira Wright-Harmon earned her second Northeast Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week, announced the conference office on Tuesday.
Wright-Harmon accounted for her most-impressive high jump performance of the season as the NEC Outdoor Championships loom. The conference's high jump record holder cleared 1.75m (5' 8.75") to strike gold at Penn Relays. Wright-Harmon easily topped the College Division at the world-famous annual meet, finishing the competition as the lone entrant to clear the final two height progressions on her first attempts. The height, which places the veteran Blackbird in a tie for 35th place in the NCAA Division I East Region, still stands 0.03m short of the all-time best she registered at the 2015 NEC title meet.
