The final match day one was a position round contest, with the two teams next to each other in the standings facing off as LIU played Coppin State. The Blackbirds would continue their hot streak and threw their best baker match of the day, blowing out the Eagles, 999-765, which included three 200+ games.
Another position round will be begin the day, with LIU taking on a very familiar rival, St. Francis Brooklyn, who currently stands in 10th place. Then the Blackbirds will play four consecutive ranked teams, including two in the top five: No. 4 Vanderbilt, No. 13 Monmouth, No. 5 Sam Houston State and No. 17 Tulane.
