BROOKLYN, N.Y. – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced its 2017 Division I Men's Soccer All-ECAC Team Wednesday morning, and LIU Brooklyn junior midfielder Rasmus Hansen was honored for the second time in his career. Hansen was named first team All-ECAC, in addition to NEC Player of the Year and first team All-NEC honoree.
Hansen earned first team ECAC All Star honors his freshman season as well.
Hansen, a three-time first team All-NEC honoree and two-time All-ECAC selection, led the Blackbirds in goals (9) and points (22) during a season that saw the Blackbirds secure the #2 seed with a 4-2-1 league mark, and finish second overall in the NEC. He ranked second in the league in points per game, and third in goals scored following the post-season.
