BROOKLYN, N.Y. - The recent inclement weather, combined with expected inclement weather to come this weekend has altered the home opening schedule for both LIU Brooklyn baseball and LIU Brooklyn women's lacrosse.

The LIU Brooklyn baseball home-opening series against Wagner, schedule for Friday, March 17 through Sunday March 19, has been canceled. Make up dates for those events have yet to be determined.

For LIU Brooklyn women's lacrosse, their home opener against Manhattan, originally scheduled to be hosted on LIU Field, Saturday, March 18 at 4 p.m., has been moved. The Blackbirds will now host the Jaspers at LIU Post, in a 3:30 p.m. contest. The game will not be broadcast on NEC Front Row, but live stats will be available here.
