BROOKLYN, N.Y. - LIU Brooklyn women's tennis sophomore Anna Grigoryan has been named the Northeast Conference Player of the Week, it was announced by the league office Tuesday. 

Grigoryan collects her second straight NEC Player of the Week accolade after she secured a 6-0, 6-1 victory at the #1 flight over Bucknell's Lauren Fishbein, who has posted a 28-12 singles mark in her two years with the Bison. Grigoryan also teamed up with Ana Leonte for a 6-0 win at #3 doubles. LIU completed its Spring Break swing in Orlando with a 5-2 win over the Bison to improve to 5-3 on the year.

Up next, the Blackbirds travel to East Orange, N.J., to take on Seton Hall, Friday, March 24.
