Men's Golf | Mar 26 | Men's Golf Finishes Towson Invite Tied For 16th Story Links Final Results GRASONVILLE, MD. --- The second tournament of the spring season for the LIU Brooklyn men's golf team - the Towson Spring Invitational - ended Sunday with the Blackbirds finishing tied for 16th place in the 22-team field. LIU shot a second round combined score of 315 to complete the event with a score of +46 (307+315=622). Kyle Maihi once again led the Blackbirds on the course in the second round by during a team low of 4-over 76 and paced the squad with a T-30th place total of 7-over 151 (75-76). Jake Spearpoint was the team's next best performer, finishing tied for 60th with a 12-over 156 (77-79). NEXT UP The Blackbirds get right back to action next weekend at the Longwood University Manor Intercollegiate beginning Friday, March 31.
