HANOVER, N.H. --- The LIU Brooklyn women's golf finished its time at the Dartmouth University Invitational in ninth place, shooting a second round 37-over 325 to end the two-day event at 57-over 633.
Sophomore
Carolina Ronchel put together the best performance of her young Blackbird career, putting together her best tournament score (Even Par 144; 69-75), tying her best individual finish (third overall) and logging the second-best round score in LIU history with her first round 69 (three strokes short of former Blackbird Marisol Doglioli's 66 at the 2014 NEC Championships).
Fellow sophomores
Rebeca Pardos and
Aida Gonzalez remained in the top 50, ending the weekend tied for 39th (16-over 160, 75-85) and 48th (21-over, 80-85) respectively.
Senior
Lauren Rutherglen just missed the top 50 cutoff, tying for 51st at 22-over 166 (84-82) while junior
Sara Ciliberto was three strokes behind at 25-over 169 (86-83).
NEXT UP
LIU will head to Connecticut next weekend for the Hartford Fall Invitational, which will occur from Saturday, September 30 to Sunday, October 1.
