JERSEY CITY, N.J. – The LIU Brooklyn women's tennis team won their second-straight dual match Sunday afternoon, shutting out Saint Peter's, 7-0. The Blackbirds won all three doubles matches, 6-0, and all six singles matches were won in straight sets, as LIU only dropped three games all day.

All three doubles teams shut out their Saint Peter's counterparts, 6-0, to take the doubles point and an early 1-0 match lead.

In singles, Clemence Krug had the first win at No. 5 singles, followed by Jessica Brzozowska at No. 4 singles, and sophomore Jennifer Gogova clinched the match win with her victory at No. 3 singles. Malin Leysen won easily in the top spot, followed by Sasha Bollweg at No. 2, and Ana Leonte in the No.6 spot.
 
Up next, the Blackbirds take on one of the toughest teams in the region, traveling to Queens to take on St. John's, Friday, February 2 at 12 p.m.
