Junior Daniel Reale emerged as the Blackbirds' top performer, tying for 35th place after posting a two-round score of 14-over 158 (77-81). Freshman Manuel Sosa ended in a two-way tie for 40th with a 15-over 159 (76-83) and senior Kyle Maihi was slotted in a tie for 47th after shooting 18-ver 162 (76-82). The final Blackbirds on the leaderboard were freshman Jayden Brown (T-57th; 21-over 165 / 80-85) and senior Victor Aronsson (T-67th; 24-over 168 / 82-86). As a collective, LIU finished tenth among the 14-team field (68-over 644 / 309-335). LIU will next compete at the end of the month, playing in the Longwood/Manor Intercollegiate in Farmville, Va. from March 30-31.
