SCOUTING THE KNIGHTS
Fairleigh Dickinson comes into the weekend with a 12-21 overall record, and 4-4 in league action. Weather cancellations have caused the Knights to postpone four games, causing them to be slightly behind the NEC curve.  Last weekend, the Knights swept Mount, and dropped two on the road to Sacred Heart.

FDU is led at the plate by junior Reanna Cervantes, who's hitting .341, with a team-high 15 RBI. She's also had a team-high 10 doubles. The Knights have three righty pitchers splitting time on the mound: junior Baylee Ports (5-7, 2.96 ERA), freshman Abby England (14-12, 4.52 ERA) and sophomore Erica Johnson (3-8, 6.05 ERA).

SCOUTING THE PIONEERS
Sacred Heart currently sits in second in the NEC, with a 26-17 overall record, and 8-2 in league play. SHU lost one game to CCSU, and one to Bryant. They're coming off a 2-1 week against non-league opponents, having lost to Fairfield, and swept Siena in a doubleheader Thursday.

Seniors Fallon Bevino and Lauren Delgadillo, who both have 19 RBI, and a combined nine home runs, lead the Pioneers. Junior Hailey Derosiers also adds 18 RBI, including five home runs, and nine doubles at the plate, including a team-high 44 hits.

But where the Pioneers shine is their pitching. SHU has a staff ERA of 1.74, and over 350 stikeouts. Junior Emily Orosco had a 1.28 ERA, an 11-3 record, and a league-best 171 strikeouts this year. Junior Kristen McCann is next on the team with 157 strikeouts, and a 2.10 ERA in 28 appearances. She also has 11 wins, along with 14 complete games, and three saves.
