HAMDEN, Conn. – The LIU Brooklyn women's lacrosse team (0-2) is heading north this weekend to take on Quinnipiac University, Saturday, February 23 at 2 p.m. The game, which was originally scheduled to start at 1 p.m., had to be pushed back due to field maintenance.
LAST TIME OUT
The Blackbirds will be looking to bounce back after falling on the road to La Salle, 17-4. Sophomore Amanda Masullo led LIU in the contest, scoring her first hat trick of the season.
SCOUTING THE BOBCATS
Quinnipiac (1-2) opened its season with a 14-13 win over Stetson, but have since fallen to Brown (16-9) and Yale (18-7), and will be looking to snap that losing streak Saturday.
Senior attacker Allison Kuhn leads QU, with 11 goals and three assists so far this season, along with a team-high eight draw controls. Junior attacker Megan Szawlowski is next on the team, with seven goals and one assist. Seven other Bobcats have gotten on the board this season, balancing out the team's attack.

The Blackbirds will return to the greater New York City area, taking on local rival Manhattan, Wednesday, February 27 at 4 p.m. in the Bronx.
