GAINESVILLE, Fla.— The LIU Brooklyn women's track and field team had a pair of runners compete at the Florida Relays held at the University of Florida this weekend.

Senior Eugenie Hue ran an ECAC qualifying mark of 55.37 in the 400 meter event for the Blackbirds. Sophomore Tara Hernandez also earned an ECAC mark with a time of 1:02.77 in the 400 meter hurdles.

LIU is back on the track in two weeks for the Metropolitan Championships set for April 12-13 at Rutgers.
