TEAM OUTLOOK
The Blackbirds have certainly seen an obvious improvement from their fall to spring season, gaining momentum at the perfect time in the season. "Especially this spring season, the team has gotten stronger with each tournament, mentally and physically", said second year head coach Lois Kim. "These women continued to work on improving their stats in practice. Focusing on simple but important things such as improving fairway and greens regulations."
"The girls look confident and are excited for the NEC Championship and are looking to close out the season with another top-three finish or better." said Kim.
LIU Brooklyn's recent results include a fourth place finish at the Bucknell Invitational in the beginning of March and confidence and momentum-building first place victory at the Hofstra Quad Invite to end the month of March. The team of seniors Sara Ciliberto and Emma Paschal, juniors Aida Gonzalez and Rebeca Pardos and freshman Ashlee Garrett are all ready to hit the links against their NEC foes tomorrow (April 11th).
