Background: Earned six varsity letters in baseball (4) and basketball (2) at McClancy… Two-time Rawlings Preseason All-American… Earned CHSAA First-Team All-City honors as a shortstop his senior season, and second-team All-City honors as a shortstop and pitcher his junior year… Was named MVP of the NYC Mayor’s Cup All-Star game in 2017… Graduated with a career batting average of .350, with 80 RBIs and eight home runs as a three-year starter… Hit .404 his senior season with three home runs, 23 RBIs and 20 runs scored… Playing at shortstop, only made three errors in 29 games in his senior season.
