2018-19: Named first team All-NEC… Earned second team All-Met honors… Played in and started all 32 games for LIU… Led the NEC in scoring all season long, finishing the season averaging 18.9 points per game… Also averaged 6.8 rebounds per game, ranking sixth in the NEC, and ranked in the top ten in field goal percentage (.503 - 6th), steals (1.30 per game - 10th), offensive rebounds (1.97 per game - 9th), defensive rebounds (4.83 per game - 6th) and minutes played (32.57 - 10th)… Finished the regular season with six double doubles, 28 games scoring in double digits, 15 games where he scored 20 points or more, and two 30+ point games… Became the 36th player in LIU Brooklyn basketball history to eclipse the 1,000 point mark… Was named NEC Player of the Week after his 23-point performance in the Blackbirds' win over Fordham… Started the season with a near triple double, scoring 22 points against New Rochelle, along with nine rebounds, six steals and five assists… Had 33 points against Fairfield, going 14-for-22 (.636) from the field… Had 31 points and 10 rebounds against NJIT… Had 20 points, 10 rebounds and five steals against FDU… Also had 14 points, 10 rebounds and five steals at Wagner.
2017-18: Third team All-NEC… Named to the NEC All-Tournament Team… Played in all 35 of LIU’s games, including the NEC Championship and the NCAA tournament… Named NEC Player of the Week once… Averaged 17.5 points per game and 7.0 rebounds per game… Led the team in rebounding and was second on the team in points scored… Also ranked sixth in the NEC in points, fifth in rebounding, and third in field goal percentage, shooting .556 for the season… Finished the year scoring in double digits in 30 games, including 13 games with 20 points or more… Also had seven games with 10 rebounds or more… Scored a career-high 34 points in season opener at Tulane, shooting 14-for-20 from the field, along with seven rebounds and three steals… Had 26 points against Brown… Had his first double double with 12 points and 12 rebounds at NJIT… Had seven double doubles on the season, including 21 points and 10 rebounds at FDU, and 24 points and 10 rebounds in win at St. Francis Brooklyn… Had 28 points (11-15 shooting) in NEC semifinal win over FDU… Had 20 points and eight rebounds in NEC championship win over Wagner.
2016-17: Had a strong season in his sophomore campaign, playing in 32 of LIU’s games... Averaged 6.2 points per game and 4.2 rebounds per game... Scored a career-high 17 points against Sacred Heart, going 7-for-9 from the field, along with seven rebounds... Was named NEC Player of the Week once... Had 12 points and 12 rebounds against Wagner.. Had 15 points and seven rebounds against St. Francis Brooklyn... Grabbed 11 rebounds against CCSU... Had 10 points and seven rebounds at SFU.
2015-16: Preferred walk-on, joined the team in the fall... Saw action in one contest, playing two minutes against Dartmouth... Had an assist against the Big Green... Was awarded a scholarship that summer.
Background: Played for seasons at James Hillhouse High School before spending a post-graduate year at Trinity-Pawling in New York... Was a captain as a senior at Hillhouse... Helped Academics to 2013 LL State Championship, scoring 26 points and pulling down 12 rebounds in victory over Fairfield Prep... Was named to 53rd Annual JCC Schoolboy Classic roster... Averaged 15.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 3.0 steals per game as a senior... Also helped Hillhouse win a Southern Connecticut Conference (SCC) Hammonasset Division championship... Two-time New Haven Register All-Area selection... All-SCC Hammonasset Division selection.
