West Long Branch, N.J. - Senior
Selina Munoz finished third in the Monmouth Cross Country Kick-Off in West Long Branch, N.J. on Sept. 5. Munoz crossed the finish line in a time of 15:30.01 in the five kilometer race. On the men's side, freshman Jason Lakritz completed the eight kilometer event in 20:08.88 to place 16th overall.
Following Munoz was junior
Robin Renahan who placed 44th in the event after finishing the race in17:15.83. Sophomore
Nicolle Franklin turned in a time of 17:38.22 to finish in 50th place overall. After Franklin was junior
Desiree Conley who crossed the plane at 17:44.34. Rounding out the Long Island women's side was freshman
Tiffany Parker who finished in a time of 20:58.15.
Senior
Dan Renahan placed 23rd overall while turning in a time of 20:19.38. Five seconds behind Renahan was classmate
Julius Mutekanga who completed the course in 20:24.56. Junior
Samuel Egadu crossed the finish line in 22:59. 69to take 72nd place. Junior
Vincent Gangemi and senior
Eric Tyler finished the race in 23:22.28 and 27:03.47, respectively.
The Blackbirds resume their cross country slate at the Fordham Fiasco on Saturday, Sept. 12 in Bronx, N.Y.
