The LIU Brooklyn men's basketball team will seek revenge on its arch rival St. Francis Brooklyn on Monday afternoon in Brooklyn. The Blackbirds will be looking to avenge a 64-49 loss to the Terriers on January 23, their lowest pont total of the season. The contest will begin at 1:00 p.m. and will air on ESPNU, with Eamon McAnaney and Adam Finkelstein calling the action.QUICK HITTERS
•LIU is coming off a decisive 82-69 victory over Wagner on Thursday evening, completing a season sweep of the Seahawks.
•Junior Jerome Frink had a monster game, registering 26 points to go along with 14 rebounds, three assists, three steals and three blocked shots.
•Frink is just the fourth player in college basketball this season to score at least 25 points and put up the numbers in the other three statistical categories. The others are UNC's Brice Johnson, LSU's Ben Simmons and Gonzaga's Domantas Sabonis.
•The game also marked a milestone for the 6-7 forward, as his three-pointer with under four minutes remaining gave him 1,000 points for his collegiate career (including 587 from two years at FIU).
•Sophomore Martin Hermannsson had his string of 20-point scoring games snapped at four, but did continue his all-league level play with 17 points, 11 rebounds and five assists.
•Redshirt sophomore Nura Zanna started hot for LIU Brooklyn, scoring 11 points in the first nine minutes of the game and finished with a season-best 16 points.
•St. Francis Brooklyn is coming off a come-from-behind win over Central Connecticut, 74-67, on Thursday.
•The Terriers trailed by as many as 16 points in the first half but hit seven three-pointers in the second period to help them improve to 11-15 overall and 7-6 in NEC play.
•Yunus Hopkinson had 27 points while Antonio Jenifer added 22 points and 15 rebounds in the win.
