QUICK HITS
  • The Blackbirds (14-8, 7-2 in the NEC) are coming off a close win over another Nutmeg State opponent, as they beat Sacred Heart Thursday night in the Pitt Center. • CCSU and LIU last faced off a little over two weeks ago. The Blackbirds beat the Blue Devils at home, 60-49, despite a sluggish offense. LIU shot just 34 percent from the field. • CCSU stands at 3-17 on the season, and 1-8 in conference action.
