LORETTO, Pa. -- The LIU Brooklyn men's basketball team wraps up the second leg of a trip through the Pennsylvania contingent of the Northeast Conference on the road Saturday. The Blackbirds will square off with Saint Francis U., Saturday, January 7 at 4 p.m. The game will be streamed live on NEC Front Row.

• The Blackbirds (9-7, 2-1 NEC) won their second straight Northeast Conference game Thursday in Moon Township, Pa., defeating the Colonials of Robert Morris, 65-54. The Blackbirds had four players score in double digits, led by double-doubles from Frink and Zanna. Senior
Jerome Frink finished with 19 points, 11 rebounds and a season-high five assists, while junior
Nura Zanna had 12 points and a team-high 13 rebounds. Senior

• LIU out-rebounded Robert Morris, 43-20, their widest rebounding margin of the season. The Blackbirds also outscored RMU in the paint, 44-24, and were a perfect 13-for-13 from the free throw line as a team.
• Saint Francis comes into the game with a 5-9 overall record, and 2-1 in the NEC. After opening the season with a 77-65 loss to FDU, the Red Flash won two straight games in dominant fashion. SFU beat Sacred Heart, 87-67, and St. Francis Brooklyn, 81-56.
• Saint Francis ranks as the highest-scoring team in the league so far this season, averaging 75.6 points per game. The Red Flash has a balanced attack, with four players averaging in double digits.
• Sophomore guard Jamal King is the team's top scoring, putting up 13.2 points per game, and a team-high 3.43 assists per game. Freshman Keith Braxton is next, with 11.8 points per game, along with 8.4 rebounds per game. The 6-4 guard also had 45 assists this season, along with 21 steals. Sophomore Isiah Blackmon averages 11.1 points per game for SFU coming off the bench, while sophomore forward Josh Nebo adds 10.7 points per game, and 7.3 rebounds per game. The 6-8 Texan also leads the NEC in blocked shots, swatting away an average of 1.71 per game.
