MILWAUKEE, Wisc. – The LIU Brooklyn men's basketball team continues its road swing across the country Tuesday night, as the Blackbirds head to the University of Milwaukee for the second game of the Basketball Hall of Fame Belfast Classic, Tuesday, November 20. The contest will be streamed on ESPN3, and tip-off is slated for 8 p.m. ET.

- The LIU Brooklyn men's basketball team dropped their first game of the 2018-19 season Sunday evening against the University of San Francisco, 84-52. With the loss in the first game of the Basketball Hall of Fame Belfast Classic, the Blackbirds move to 3-1 on the season.
- Sophomore Ty Flowers led LIU with 16 points, shooting 6-for-14 from the field, including three three-pointers. He also had seven rebounds and two assists.
- Senior Raiquan Clark finished with 13 points, as the only other LIU player in double digits, while junior Julian Batts had five assists and six rebounds for the Blackbirds.
- Milwaukee comes into Tuesday's contest looking for their first win of the season, at 0-4. Most recently, the Panthers gave Cincinnati a run for its money, coming up short in the end, 74-63. MKE also had close losses at FIU (86-83) and against North Dakota at home (63-60).
- Junior guard Darius Roy is the team's leading scorer early in the season, averaging 16.3 points per game. He also has team highs in assists (18) and steals (9). Junior guard DeAndre Abram is also in double digits, with 10.5 points per game, and leads the team with 9.5 rebounds per game. And coming off the bench, sophomore Carson Warren Newsome is adding 11.0 points per game, including shooting 57.1 percent from three-point range.
- Up next for the Blackbirds, LIU returns to Brooklyn to host local rival NJIT, Saturday, November 24 at 2 p.m., before traveling to Ireland to take part in the remainder of the Basketball Hall of Fame Belfast Classic, November 29 and 30.
