BROOKLYN, N.Y. - The LIU Brooklyn men's and women's basketball programs have announced that they will play three of their games to the Barclays Center this season. The Blackbirds will host those three games, including two Northeast Conference contests, at the home of the National Basketball Association's Brooklyn Nets, continuing a partnership that has been in place since the arena opened in 2012.

The men's team will open play at the Barclays Center on Friday, December 21, hosting Binghamton in the arena for a 12 p.m. tip off. LIU will then also host league foe Mount St. Mary's in the arena, Thursday, February 7 at 7 p.m.

The women's team will host a special President's Day matchup in the arena, welcoming Sacred Heart to downtown Brooklyn on Monday, February 18. The two teams will tip off in a midday matinee at 1 p.m.
